Please be advised that some of the electric trikes are equipped with a motor that exceeds the federal 750-watt limit established for classification as a low-speed electric bicycle.  Consequently, this vehicle is typically classified as a motor vehicle (such as a moped, motor-driven cycle, or motorcycle) under the laws of most states and local jurisdiction.

To operate this vehicle legally on public roads, you will likely be required to comply with regulations similar to those for motor scooters or motorcycles.  These requirements may include, but are not limited to:

     *  Vehicle Registration: Obtaining a valid title and license plate.

     *  Driver's License: Possessing a valid driver's license.

     *  Insurance: Maintaining minimum liability insurance coverage as required by your state law.

     *  Safety Equipment: Adhering to specific helmet laws and equipment standards.
